The last time I would have been this close to a horse I was eight years old, and it bit me. Not sure how is confused my shoulder for a carrot, but I'm tackling a fear today. I'm a lifetime snowboarder but started skiing so my wife and I could learn together. I figured that me teaching her to snowboard would be miserable for both of us, but learning to ski together might be fun. I picked up skiing pretty quick because I play hockey and it turns out skis just feel like giant ice skates. Make no mistake though, I'm a pretty good ice skater, but I am one terrible hockey player.
